The Shipyards District boundary is comprised of 18 city blocks beginning north at 4th street, south to Carrie Cates Court with St. Georges Avenue as its eastern border and Forbes Avenue as its western border.
When driving to the area from downtown Vancouver, you can arrive via the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge (it is also referred to as Second Narrows Bridge) or Lion’s Gate Bridge. Our community revitalization is ongoing so please be cautious of construction signs and temporary roadway changes.

There are a variety of parking options in the area. You’ll find one-hour free street parking as well city-owned and privately-owned parking lots located throughout. See the map above for locations or Download a PDF. While City lots are open 24/7, the hours of operation vary with each private lot. Parking rates apply and vary with each location.
Pay parking is available at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier and the ICBC parkade, located adjacent to Lonsdale Quay Market with entries off Rogers Avenue and Carrie Cates. The ICBC parkade is paid parking 24hrs, 7 days a week. The Lonsdale Quay Market has paid parking in their underground parkade.
Underneath Shipyard Commons at 125 Victory Ship Way, 140 new pay parking stalls are now available along with bike storage, car shares and EV charging stations.
