Get ready to experience the best of live music, entertainment, and community spirit as the Shipyards Festival returns for an unforgettable FREE one-day event! Join us in The Shipyards District for a day filled with fun, excitement, and activities for all ages.
Beyond the staple Shipyards Zone, new for this year is the CN Community Zone on 1st Street that extends the festival areas and will be open from noon to 8PM. The car-free CN Rail Community Zone features the Translink Car Free Days of Summer, on-street activations from local businesses along with even more live musical performances.
Here’s what to expect!
Live Music Across Multiple Stages – Enjoy a diverse lineup of live performances from talented local artists. With multiple stages set up in The Shipyards and on 1st Street there’s something for every musical taste. See the site map.
Site-Wide Beer Garden – A wide selection of local craft beers and beverages throughout the festival zones. Featuring sips from North Point Brewing Co., custom cocktails from Copperpenny Distilling Co., and Cinco Drink Co.
Family Activities – Kids can enjoy performances and activities at the Seaspan Family Zone in the Pipe Shop from 12 to 6PM. Featuring performances from Marnie Grey Music and Magical Kingdom!
Free E-Bike Rides – Lime will be providing free e-bike rides around The Shipyards District area, making it even easier to explore stores and local spots outside of the festival zones.

Yes! Food trucks as well as local restaurant pop-ups will be at the festival. You can also stop by one of our Lower Lonsdale restaurants for a bite to eat.
Yes, the festival site is dog-friendly. However, it can get busy and loud so if your doggy might find it too much, it might be best to leave them at home.
Yes! Shipyards Festival is for everyone. Kids can check out the Seaspan Family Zone for games, crafts and performances.
