What could be better than five whole weeks of artisan vendors and weekend events to inspire and get you into the creative holiday spirit right up until Christmas Eve? The Polygon Gallery is hosting its annual holiday shop, and decking out the entire main floor with festive decor and unique gifts made by local makers. Be sure to check out their events page for a list of vendors in attendance, as well as the lineup of weekend “Meet The Maker” events where you can have your aura photographed, or get a personalized poem written on-the-spot just for you. Little Mountain Shop’s Holiday Pop-Up will also return this year to showcase some of the most exciting and talented Canadian artisans, most of whom are also local, women-led or BIPOC. Haul out those reusable shopping bags now; you’re going to need them!

From beadwork, custom clothing designs, jewellery, and ceramics, to fine carvings, weavings and fresh bannock, this market event is not to be missed and is sure to bring a little joy to your world. This month, however, The Alley will also be offering a heavenly host of holiday-themed booths, gift-wrapping stations, and gifts from The Quay businesses.
