Join artist Nathan Lee to recreate a lost piece of North Vancouver history with paper and glue.
Nathan’s most recent work The Rookery is an open source paper diorama that reconstructs the early Chinese community at Moodyville, North Vancouver’s first mill town. Nathan will share a bit of project background and some paper crafting tips, then, we will build a diorama together. The hands on workshop will give you the skills to recreate your own diorama at home, and the opportunity to explore this forgotten North Vancouver community.
This workshop is intended for a variety of skill levels. Maximum 12 people, ages 12 and up. All supplies included.
