The Nation is organizing a month of events in July to celebrate 100 years since Sḵwx̱wú7mesh villages amalgamated in 1923 to become Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw.
All Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Members and community members are welcome to attend the events as part of the lead up to Amalgamation Day on July 23. The July 15 celebration is open to the public.

The Polygon Gallery’s very own Joelle Johnston invites you to hear stories from her auntie Wendy Charbonneau, Squamish elder, storyteller, singer, composer and knowledge keeper.
