About the facilitators: Chelsea and Deema
Chelsea and Deema are registered clinical counsellors and co-founders of Solla Therapy & Wellness, a boutique women-lead counselling clinic that provides trauma-informed, culturally sensitive services to individuals, couples and families. The intention behind running their own counselling clinic is to provide robust mental health therapy and education to individuals while also offering an aspect of community connection, which they find to be a missing piece in mental health services. The name Solla was intentionally chosen with the latin derivative meaning “unbroken, already whole” emphasizing their holistic approach to wellness and their belief that everyone is inherently enough, but past traumas may get stuck in our bodies and prevent us from embodying our authentic selves.
