Saturday, December 2, 2pm to 3pm: Sam Chimes

A Nigerian-Canadian Artist who brings live Jazz and improv elements to his upbeat style of Hip-Hop. He has a recognizable name, brand, and sound in Metro Vancouver, having been a street performer locally and internationally for over 5 years.

Sunday, December 3, 3pm to 4pm: Tim Charman

A Vancouver, BC based professional musician and educator. Originally from Vancouver, Tim currently divides his time between the Canadian west coast and Montréal when not on tour. He is involved in numerous musical projects covering a wide variety of styles and mediums. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Concordia University in Montréal, where he studied both jazz and classical theory and performance.

Sunday, December 10, 3pm to 4pm: The North Vancouver Community Band

The North Vancouver Community Band is a non-profit community band based in North Vancouver offering a musical experience and education for amateur woodwind, brass and percussion players in the Lower Mainland.

Started over 20 years ago, the North Vancouver Community Band was brought together by community members with a passion for music but no outlet. Looking for an opportunity to bring musicians with diverse background and different skill levels together in a supportive environment conducive to musical growth, a counsel of volunteers was recruited and a band was born. Since then the band has been dedicated to expanding musical awareness and has proudly provided to the musical education of 250+ members and performed at countless community events.
