This is the official kickoff event of the holiday season in the City of North Vancouver! Taking place on Saturday, November 30th from 3 to 7pm, The Shipyards Christmas Festival is a large-scale free community event which takes place in The Shipyards. Twinkling lights, entertainment on the outdoor stage, a Winter Artisan Market inside The Pipe Shop from 3 to 9pm, Mr. & Mrs. Claus drops by for a visit and photos and The Mayor officially lights up the City’s Christmas tree at 7pm. Kids won’t want to leave thanks to all the holiday excitement and family-friendly activities such as ornament and lantern making, story time, gingerbread cookie decoration, balloon creations and face painting.
