Brockton School’s renowned World Music Program (WMP) returns to the Shipyards, featuring performances by the Junior Specialized Ensemble (JSE), Intermediate Specialized Ensemble (ISE), and Senior Specialized Ensemble (SSE).
The World Music Program (WMP) has toured ten countries, captivating audiences with a dynamic blend of global sounds. From popular contemporary tunes to traditional African and Latin American music, their performances are joyful celebrations that bring families and communities together through the universal language of music. With a mission to foster a compassionate global consciousness through the act of creating and sharing music, the WMP creates memorable experiences for audiences of all ages.
The ensemble has performed in some of the world’s most iconic concert halls, as well as in intimate settings, supporting causes and connecting people through the power of live music and shared cultural expression. Wherever they perform, the World Music Program leaves audiences inspired, united, and moved by the power of music to transcend borders and build connections. This family-friendly event is free to attend and coincides with the opening of the Shipyards Splash Park!
