The Bastille Day Festival is a free annual event taking place at the Pipe Shop & Shipyards at North Vancouver. This event is the only one celebrating the French & Francophone communities of the Greater Vancouver Area. We gather vendors selling French food specialties and other services towards the French community, non-for-profit organizations for Francophones (Alliance Francaise, Centre Culturel, Ecole Cousteau & other French-speaking schools). We also offer a free gaming area for kids, free entertainment like live music or trivia games and an outdoor drink patio. In additional, this year will highlight the Paris 2024 Olympics with an exhibit around the value of olympism and celebration of the most memorable moments of the past Olympics – with a dedicated focus on female athletes.
